The Vancouver Trance Family was out in full force on Saturday, January 23, 2010 to catch Andy Moor’s sold-out show @ Mint Nightclub. Despite technical sound difficulties, Andy managed to keep the crowd bouncing all night long with flailing arms from wall-to-wall. It was definitely nothing short of a massive gongshow that had everyone longing for more. Really looking forward to seeing Andy spin again in a better venue which he deserves.

Day 21/365 – LIGHT THE SKIES

There’s nothing better than taking pictures on a sunny afternoon while listening to some awesome trance tunes! This is one of my first attempts at an HDR photo made up of 9 different exposures. I love the tonal range you get by blending all the shots together.

The photo itself is actually inspired by one of my favourite trance songs:

I dedicate this shot to the terribly rainy weather we have been getting lately… my 50mm f/1.8 AKA the "Nifty Fifty" lens never fails when it comes to low light situations, every photographer should have one in their camera bags =P
